Introducing our new name flags / wooden name flags / acrylic name flags

In recent years, "wooden name flags," "name flags," and "personalized decorations" have become particularly popular categories among seasonal decorations.
Many varieties have emerged due to their simple design, ease of display, and photogenic quality.

At Hare to Kurasu, we also wanted to create "a unique and memorable original name flag,"
and that desire was the starting point for the Kasumi series.

The origin of the name Kasumi — Hanagasumi

The naming of this name flag, "Kasumi," is
inspired by the word "Hanagasumi" (haze of blossoms).

The gentle overlapping of colors (the colorfulness of flowers) that spreads when flowers bloom beautifully, and

the clear transparency that acrylic material possesses.

Combining these two images,
we named it Kasumi, embodying the meaning of "vibrancy and clear transparency."

Adding a new value of transparency to "wooden name flags"

While many wooden name flags already exist,
we aimed for a new type of personalized decoration that adds vibrancy and transparency to the warmth of wood.

That's why we adopted acrylic material.
By layering the gentle translucency of acrylic with the soft texture of wood,
we create a sense of depth, three-dimensionality, and nuanced colors that cannot be expressed with just a wooden flag.

The concept of "Hanagasumi" was a perfect fit for this combination of materials.

Processing technology that creates beautiful overlays

The wood parts are precisely laser-cut and the acrylic parts are high-definition UV printed, designed to overlap beautifully.

The color of the acrylic subtly changes depending on how the light hits it, making it a popular name flag for photographs.

This combination of acrylic and wood is an original design by Hare to Kurasu.
