Kiyomizu-yaki chopstick rest set

These chopstick rests are delicately handcrafted by artisans of Kiyomizu-yaki, a style of ware that continues the traditions of Higashiyama, Kyoto. Each one is shaped like a snowflake, a crescent moon, or a flower, symbolizing the natural beauty of Japan. The calming colors of white and gold blend beautifully together, creating a gentle addition to your dining table.

The beauty of white porcelain and soft gold coloring in harmony

Each piece has a three-dimensional and pretty shape, and is decorated with transparent crystalline glaze and gorgeous gold and silver colors. It can also be used as a spoon rest or knife and fork rest, making it an item that will add a touch of elegance to your hospitality.

Comes in a special box, so it's perfect as a gift

It is also recommended as a gift for someone special.

Brand: Nishikawa Teizaburo Shoten

Gojozaka is located in the ancient capital of Kyoto. Nishikawa Teizaburo Shoten is located in a neighborhood lined with pottery kilns and pottery studios. Since its founding in 1917, the store has sold pottery and porcelain, mainly Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki, both domestically and internationally. The first store owner, Nishikawa Teizaburo, exhibited at the 1958 Belgian World Expo to introduce Kiyomizu-yaki, and the second-generation owner, Keitaro, began to handle excellent Japanese traditional crafts and miscellaneous goods as well.
The current president has taken over from his predecessor and is working hard to promote the sale of Kiyomizu ware and traditional Japanese crafts, while also introducing the excellent traditional Japanese culture to the world.
