Congratulatory carp [Kiccho]

Celebration carp, lucky sign, Haruho Tokunaga

Painted by Japanese painter Haruho Tokunaga,
A masterpiece of the highest quality, carefully crafted by skilled craftsmen

The jacquard material has a silky texture and is woven with noble paulownia bamboo phoenix and kirin patterns that were favored by generations of aristocrats. It is dyed using the traditional hand-dyed Yuzen bokashi technique, and is studded with golden glitter for an even more luxurious finish. The streamers are traditional five colors based on the wavy water pattern of the auspicious pattern. In the center, I drew the highest-ranking flying dragon with wings so that the dragon from the legend of Toryumon would take even greater leaps.

Haruho Tokunaga, the founder of Tokunaga Koinobori, is a Japanese painter representing Okayama.

With Ito Shinsui, famous for his paintings of beautiful women, as his teacher, Haruho shocked the industry by painting carp streamers that were unprecedented in elegance and elegance, using delicate brushstrokes unique to Japanese paintings and an unparalleled worldview.

His representative works of carp streamers include ``Celebration Carp Kitcho'' and ``Kyoten Yuzen Carp Kyo Nishiki.''
A very popular work that continues to be a long-selling product that transcends the times.

Threading, weaving, dyeing, cutting, sewing, swimming.
A first-class, top-quality product no matter where you look. The way they swim is truly a work of art.

Polyester jacquard fabric is manufactured using more than twice the number of threads compared to the standard for normal jacquard fabrics. Therefore, it is durable and the fabric flaps more smoothly. It is said to feel like silk to the touch.

The paulownia bamboo phoenix, woven with sunlight, gently shines through the watermark and swims softly, slowly and gracefully.
Although there is not much gold leaf, it is elegant, like a Nishikigoi swimming gracefully with splashes of water. In addition, the five-colored windsock has ivy drawn on its legs in rich colors and a flying dragon dances.
Tsuta has the meaning of pushing up to heights.

Traditional hand printing technique

Skills of skilled craftsmen

When printing by hand, the color of the finished product is greatly affected by daily changes in temperature and humidity.
Using the sense we have cultivated over many years, we carefully consider the daily changes in temperature and humidity and adjust the dye mixture. It will dye evenly.

Auspicious jaguar weave

A typical jacquard weave has a thread count of 190. The density is 210. These two types are said to be representative.
However, Kitcho is specially composed of 318 threads that are even denser than that, expressing the lustrous texture and softness of silk. While incorporating paulownia bamboo phoenix, it also has a strong aspect as a carp streamer.

Water repellent finish

Beautiful carp streamers last a long time!

Made with water-repellent finished fabric, it repels water better than conventional products, is less likely to shrink or wrinkle, and is resistant to rain. Furthermore, due to the coating action, the color fades even less, resulting in a bright and durable finish.
