Tradition x Art
Searching for new possibilities for Hina dolls

By combining Hina dolls, which are traditional Japanese culture, with art, we collaborated with sculptor Ai Haibara to develop this new Hina doll, which has never been seen before. Mr. Haibara's modern approach to his works and warm worldview have created unprecedented new value for hina dolls, while still being based on tradition. With the warmth of wood and a gentle expression, you can watch your child grow, and even after they grow up, this is a valuable doll that you can cherish and display like a treasure.

The entire piece is colored by hand, layering the colors. Mr. Haibara's work is characterized by the gentle expression and warmth unique to wood, and the gentle coloring that creates a gentle atmosphere. Each piece is carefully finished by hand.

New Hina dolls that match modern interiors

The modern design of Hina dolls with the warmth of wood goes well with modern interiors.
The sophisticated appearance, which is not too flashy, blends in with any space, including Western and Japanese rooms.

A gentle expression that I want to see forever

The artist's characteristic warm worldview has created new value in the culture of hina dolls. The rich expressions that you will never get tired of are attractive.

made of wood,
A new form of Hina dolls

In order to realize the worldview of the work, I tried to make the dolls from scratch using a new technique that had never been seen before. By carving solid wood from scratch and painting each piece by hand, we have created a new Hina doll that incorporates high technology and rich expression.

Three-dimensional expression of kimono patterns and wrinkles that can only be achieved through sculpture. The cherry blossom pattern appears three-dimensionally on the kimono.

Deep colors and a warm atmosphere are created by applying multiple layers of color. The gentle worldview that only Haibara can express is appealing.

Carefully carved from solid cypress. We paid particular attention to the attractiveness that only wood carving can offer, such as expressing the wrinkles and patterns of the kimono in three-dimensional form. Then, the colors are applied by hand to finish it off.

Original decorative stand with cherry blossom and tachibana flower motifs

The pedestal of the Hina doll has a tachibana flower motif for the lord and a cherry blossom flower for the princess.

Dedicated storage case

We have created a special storage box to store the Hina dolls with care. It is also easy to put in and take out every year.
