24 solar terms 2nd rainwater (light water)
The falling snow turns to rain and the snow begins to thaw.
The snow that had piled up on the mountains slowly melts, moistening the earth.
There are still some areas with deep snow, but as the harsh cold eases and warm rain falls, the snow will begin to melt. When the frozen earth awakens and plants begin to sprout.
The soil began to become moist with water from the melting snow, so it was considered a time to start preparing for farming.
Also, on March 3rd, there is Momo no Sekku, one of the five seasonal festivals, ``Joshi no Sekku''.

*A detailed introduction to the Peach Festival will be posted in [Peach Festival Customs].
Now, I would like to introduce you to the events that took place during the rainy season.
``Joshi no Sekku'', which is one of the five seasonal festivals, falls on March 3rd and is also called ``Peach Festival'' because it coincides with the time when peaches bloom.
It is said that displaying Hina dolls is a way to have them take care of disasters and illnesses, and families with girls display them to pray for their growth and happiness. This idea became today's celebratory culture. Hina dolls are a talisman for women to be displayed at any age, and not only girls but all women can enjoy them as decorations or as seasonal decorations.
On this day, families with girls celebrate and pray for their healthy growth and happiness as the Doll's Festival. At the celebratory table, we prepare celebratory food such as chirashi sushi, clam soup, hina arare, sakuramochi, and white sake.
Festivals are seasonal turning points, and they are not only a time to celebrate, but also a time to take care of your family and your body, and reevaluate your lifestyle.
Let's use it as a time to prepare both body and mind.
◆Sankanshion (three cold and four warm)◆
``Sankanshion'' is a seasonal word for winter, but it is best experienced during spring.
`` If the cold days last for about three days, then the warm days continue for about four days. '' This means that these days repeat, and gradually the number of warm days increases, and we move towards spring and then summer.
Additionally, spring is characterized by the dramatic temperature differences between morning and evening, and is characterized by expressions related to seasonal boundaries and climate, such as `` first spring '' and ` `the return of the cold ''.
