The "Satsuki no Uta" baby stand Koinobori is designed by dyeing artist Jun Mitsuhashi. It features the soft brushstrokes and warm colors characteristic of Jun Mitsuhashi's work, creating an indoor Koinobori with a rich and appealing color palette. The modern, gentle touch and soft colors blend beautifully with both Japanese and Western aesthetics, as well as contemporary home designs.

Warm, Hand-Drawn Design

To reproduce the soft brushwork and warm colors characteristic of Jun Mitsuhashi's work, we avoided the stencil dyeing often used for Koinobori and instead attempted to capture the vibrant colors and subtle gradations. The result is a Koinobori with rich and appealing colors, a stark contrast to the powerful and traditional stencil dyeing.

The soft forms and gentle curves of the design are expressed three-dimensionally, just as they appear in the artwork.

Windmill

The yaguruma (windmill) carries the meaning of warding off evil. We have arranged it in a modern style while cherishing its traditional meaning.
