The fabric chosen to incorporate the joy of color and design was canvas. Canvas fabric may seem far removed from delicate Hina dolls. Canvas has a large weave and is a thick cotton fabric.

The fabric was commissioned from Kurashiki Canvas, a long-established company in Okayama.
By fusing tradition with modern sensibilities, we have created an elegant Hina doll display.
 　

＜Kurashiki Canvas＞

"Kurashiki Canvas" has spun tradition and woven innovation since 1888.
The key to its quality lies in the yarn twisting technique, which has been inherited for over 130 years. Several raw 100% cotton threads are twisted together to create a flexible and strong yarn, which is then woven on rare "shuttle looms" by skilled artisans relying on their experience and intuition. It is then transformed into "Kurashiki Canvas" with a beautifully neat selvage.

This first-class canvas is born from the blessings of nature, cotton, and human dedication, overflowing with warmth.
Its strong, gentle texture, which seems to speak to the heart, is a testament to the meticulous and devoted pursuit of "authenticity."

with a luxurious base and screen

The screen and stand emphasize the atmosphere, advantageous for the dolls,
and we were particular about the balance of texture and time.
 

We designed KIMONO Hina to be fashionable in any room, using a wide screen and base to enhance its interior design appeal through negative space, allowing for compact Hina dolls. Because it is a Japanese decoration, it is faithfully designed with the aesthetic sensibility of wabi-sabi.
 

The screen is composed of two low, two-fold screens,
resulting in a wide and spacious appearance.
 

With a special fibrous texture, it creates a moist atmosphere. The accent color stands out against the simple shape, drawing attention to the Hina dolls.
