Ed.Inter's "NIHON Series" is a carefully crafted wooden toy series, with all materials, paint, design, and craftsmanship made in Japan.

We use Itaya maple, a wood suitable for long-term use. Itaya maple is hard and resilient, resistant to scratches and cracks, making it suitable for furniture, musical instruments, and crafts. It is a deciduous tree that gets its name from the way its leaves grow, resembling a shingle roof, and can grow up to 20m in height and 1m in diameter. Its beautiful white, smooth wood grain makes it a prized material that can be used for a long time.

We use paints made in Japan. We carefully consider the characteristics of the wood to be painted, and strive to create a warm and soft color finish. We only use paints that are safe to lick or put in your mouth. The paint features natural colors that make the most of the wood grain.

We want to make good things - our finely honed senses and techniques shine through. We carve shapes that take advantage of the characteristics of wood, give it rounded edges that make it easy to grip, and continue to pay attention to details that no one else notices.
