Brand: Nishikawa Teizaburo Shoten

Nishikawa Teizaburo Shoten is located in Kyoto's ancient capital, on Gojozaka, an area lined with pottery kilns and workshops. Since its founding in 1917, it has been selling ceramics and porcelains, primarily Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki, both domestically and internationally. The first generation owner, Teizaburo Nishikawa, exhibited Kiyomizu-yaki at the 1958 Brussels World's Fair, while the second generation, Keitaro, began handling excellent traditional Japanese crafts and sundries. The current president, following in his predecessors' footsteps, is dedicated to promoting Kiyomizu-yaki and other traditional Japanese crafts, as well as introducing superb traditional Japanese culture to the world.
