Hina Dolls that Adorn Japan's Seasonal Landscapes
with "Ito Okashi" Charm
"Ito Okashi" refers to something that is very beautiful and tasteful. These Hina dolls express the "Ito Okashi" landscapes, inspired by the scenery described in The Pillow Book and the unique spirit of "living with fine days" throughout the four seasons. It's the elegant world of Waka poetry.
Though compact, these Hina decorations are picturesque and suitable as seasonal interior decor.
Along with the seasonal festival, we convey the "Ito Okashi" traditional beauty of Japan.
The spring dawn is reflected in their costumes,
with each Lord and Princess adorned in corresponding colors.
The Lord's costume reflects the dawn sky just as it begins to lighten, while the Princess's costume portrays the pink landscape as the morning sun dyes the sky, eagerly awaiting spring.

Adorable and Elegant Faces
Their faces, with a hint of childlike innocence, are graceful and become more adorable the more you look at them. Furthermore, the classical "wari-ge" hairstyle, which is rare for costumed dolls, expresses beauty within cuteness.

These dolls, with their distinctly Japanese features, allow you to enjoy the depth of their expressions from any angle.

These Hina dolls are filled with charm, meant to be cherished and displayed by not only families but also by children who received them, even when they grow into adults.
Beautiful Back View
Captivating with a hairstyle inspired by Heian beauty
Most Hina dolls feature the "osuberakashi" hairstyle, which has a large volume around the face. In the Heian period, "taregami" (垂髪) literally meant "hanging hair," referring to long hair left to hang down the back. This flowing long hair is often seen in classical picture scrolls. For this collection, we made the single-묶음 hairstyle the mainstream, creating Hina dolls whose back views can also be enjoyed.
Compact Hina Dolls for Easy Display
These are the smallest dolls among the costumed Hina dolls. While compact, the wide-sized screen and other elements allow for a spacious display, giving them a luxurious finish that belies their small size. They are designed with a sophisticated look to blend seamlessly with modern interiors. Their size makes them suitable for display on an entryway table or living room cabinet.

Refined Folding Screen and Display Stand
A beautiful Japanese paper folding screen set against a sophisticated matte gray display stand.
The screen features a silver-leaf Shippo pattern for a stylish finish.

A matte gray display stand framed with plain wood, and a matching colored sphere stand.

The delicate Japanese paper folding screen is adorned with an elegant silver Shippo pattern.
❖ What is Shippo? ❖
It refers to the seven treasures mentioned in Buddhism.
Gold, silver, crystal, lapis lazuli, agate, coral, and clam shell.
These seven treasures symbolize wealth, prosperity, and high status. As a pattern of infinite recurrence, it represents "all the world's riches" and "endless prosperity of descendants," used as an auspicious motif. It embodies wishes for harmony, unity, and connections, also signifying that human relationships and connections are as valuable as the seven treasures.

Hare to Kurasu's Hina Dolls
are all delivered with prayers
About the prayers
Receiving the families' wishes for their children's healthy growth, Hare to Kurasu delivers all Hina dolls after prayers at a shrine, so that families can celebrate the sacred Hina Matsuri with peace of mind and joy.

Since ancient times, Hina dolls have been said to be Yorishiro (objects that attract spirits), serving as substitutes to take on children's misfortunes and illnesses. With wishes for "protection from disaster" and "achievement of happiness in life," they are cherished as a guardian for children and remain an important celebratory tradition today.
As children grow day by day through the revolving seasons, celebrating the Peach Festival with their families each year, we hope that the Hina dolls delivered will accompany and protect them throughout their growth, embodying the family's wishes.
And we deliver each doll with utmost care, so that families will feel for many years to come that choosing this Hina doll was the right decision.
May you have an irreplaceable first Hina Matsuri.
