"Itowokashi" Hina Dolls that Adorn Japanese Landscapes with the Colors of the Four Seasons
"Itowokashi" refers to something that is very beautiful and tasteful. The "Itowokashi" landscapes, inspired by the scenery described in The Pillow Book and the unique philosophy of "living with celebrations" throughout the four seasons, are expressed in these Hina dolls. It is a world of gentle Waka poetry. These Hina doll displays are compact and picturesque, making them suitable as seasonal interior decor. Along with the seasonal festival, we convey the "Itowokashi" traditional beauty of Japan.
The autumn twilight hues are reflected in the costumes,
coloring both the Princess and the Prince.
The vermilion, reminiscent of autumn leaves, blends with the sky reflecting the setting sun. Mountains and pampas grass swaying in the wind are depicted on the sleeves. For the Prince, the quiet depth of the mountains and the chrysanthemum, a seasonal flower adorning Japanese beauty, are featured.

Beautiful, gentle faces
The faces, retaining a childlike innocence, are elegant and become more endearing the more you look at them. Furthermore, the classical "wari-ge" hairstyle, rare for costume dolls, expresses beauty within cuteness.
The doll's facial features, characteristic of Japanese people, allow you to appreciate the depth of its expression from any angle.

These Hina dolls are filled with charm, not only for the family but also for the children who receive them, so they can continue to display them with affection even as adults.
Beautiful Back View
Captivating with a Heian-inspired hairstyle
Many Hina dolls have a "osuberakashi" hairstyle, which is voluminous around the face. In the Heian period, "taregami" (垂髪) referred to hair that flowed down the back. This long, flowing hair is often seen in illustrations of classical picture scrolls. This time, we made Hina dolls whose hairstyles are mainly tied back, so that their back view can also be enjoyed.
Easy-to-display compact Hina dolls
These are the smallest dolls among costume dolls. Although compact, the wide-sized folding screen and other elements allow for a relaxed display, creating a luxurious finish that doesn't feel small. The sophisticated design blends seamlessly with modern interiors, emphasizing the overall atmosphere. They are sized to be displayed on cabinets in entryways or living rooms.

Sophisticated Folding Screen and Display Stand
A moist, matte gray display stand with a beautiful Japanese paper folding screen. The folding screen features a silver foil Shippo pattern, giving it a stylish finish.

The display stand, edged with light wood and in matte grey, comes with matching "gyokudai" stands.

The delicate Japanese paper folding screen is adorned with an elegant silver Shippo pattern.
❖ What is Shippo? ❖
Shippo refers to the seven treasures mentioned in Buddhism. These seven treasures—gold, silver, crystal, lapis lazuli, agate, coral, and clam shell—symbolize wealth, prosperity, and high status. As a pattern, the Shippo design represents "all the treasures in the world" and "infinite progeny prosperity" through its infinitely linked circles, making it an auspicious motif. It embodies wishes for harmony, unity, and connections, symbolizing that human bonds and relationships are as valuable as the seven treasures.

All Hina dolls from Hare to Kurasu are delivered after prayer.
About the prayer
Receiving the families' wish for their children to grow up healthy, "Hare to Kurasu" delivers all Hina dolls after having them blessed at a shrine, so that you can celebrate this sacred festival with peace of mind.

Since ancient times, Hina dolls have been considered a Yorishiro (object believed to house a deity or spirit) that takes on children's calamities and illnesses as a substitute. With wishes that "disaster will not befall them" and "they will achieve happiness in life," Hina dolls are like guardians for children, and even today, they are displayed as one of the important celebratory events.
Each year, as families celebrate the Peach Festival and children grow day by day through the changing seasons, we hope that the delivered Hina dolls, along with the family's wishes, will accompany the children, protect them as they grow, and serve their purpose.
And we hope that for many years to come, families will feel that choosing these Hina dolls was the right decision, as we carefully deliver each one. May you have an irreplaceable first Hina Matsuri.

Tokiiro, which possesses the refined taste of an art craft, stands apart from mass-produced items.
This exquisite, timeless masterpiece, chosen from an adult's perspective, is a Hina doll that children will still want to display even after they grow up healthy and become adults.
Please enjoy a wonderful Hina Matsuri that will bring smiles to your entire family for years to come.
