JICON

The name "JICON JICON" was chosen to refer to porcelain made in the present, as expressed in the Buddhist term "jikon" meaning "living in the present," and to mean porcelain made by the Imamura family, which was founded 350 years ago. The Imamura family began in Sasebo and Mikawachi and continued to make pottery as a purveyor to the Hirado domain, before the 12th generation moved the kiln to Arita to expand. Imamura Hajime, second son of the 13th generation Imamura Hiroshi, became independent from Toetsugama. He opened Imamura Seito and continues to make JICON. Utilizing the white porcelain techniques using Amakusa pottery stone that have been passed down from Mikawachi and Arita, the family makes tableware for everyday use in the present.

Nishikawa Teizaburo Shoten

Gojozaka is located in the ancient capital of Kyoto. Nishikawa Teizaburo Shoten is located in a neighborhood lined with pottery kilns and pottery studios. Since its founding in 1917, the store has sold pottery and porcelain, mainly Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki, both domestically and internationally. The first store owner, Nishikawa Teizaburo, exhibited at the 1958 Belgian World Expo to introduce Kiyomizu-yaki, and the second-generation owner, Keitaro, began to handle excellent Japanese traditional crafts and miscellaneous goods as well.
The current president has taken over from his predecessor and is working hard to promote the sale of Kiyomizu ware and traditional Japanese crafts, while also introducing the excellent traditional Japanese culture to the world.

Toumei resin

<Japanese products with a modern feel.>Toumei is based on Masaki Resin Co., Ltd., a group of resin processing professionals, and is constantly creating Japanese products with a new feel, using the skills of young designers and craftsmen. Using acrylic resin as a base, we bring out the potential of the material by combining it with different materials such as wood and foil stamping, and by presenting it with original graphics. We reexamine the beauty of Japanese products from our own unique perspective, and propose a rich lifestyle with resin products for the next generation and overseas.

Yosozawa Wood Crafts

The wood grows thicker and stronger as each grain of wood embraces itself. It takes about 100 years for a tree to grow to a size that can be used for plates or trays.
At Yosozawa Woodcraft, sturdy wood from the mountains is carved efficiently using precise and swift machinery, and then delicately polished by hand to create a high-quality feel.
We want to carve out the 100-year power trapped in solid wood so that it can be used for more than 100 years, and provide the "beauty of wood" in everyday life. We cherish trees and choose ways of making and living that allow us to pass on rich forests to future generations.
