What is [First meal]?

Celebrating the baby's 100th day of birth, the baby is given to family members and relatives with the wish that the baby will not have to worry about food for the rest of his life and that his teeth will grow strong. It is an event where people gather together and make the gesture of eating a celebratory meal of one soup and three dishes. Since it is often held on the 100th day after birth, it is also called Momokaiwai.
