The gentleness of the Japanese paper lights is soothing
The moment I received it and opened the box, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow..." The Hina dolls, illuminated by the Japanese paper lights, look so gentle, and the expressions on their faces and the colors of their costumes are elegant; just looking at them warms your heart. When you turn on the light, a soft light spreads throughout the room, and the slightly transparent pattern, which is the same as the kimono, is very cute and I love it. I'm sure my daughter will love it when she grows up.
Purchased item: Hanakoromo Spring (Washi Akari) Mr. N from Osaka Prefecture
Although it has a cute impression, I like the firm texture
The soft colors and round shape of the kimono are very cute, and the ribbon on the back is just perfect. It's cute but not tacky, which is really nice. I wasn't a fan of Hina doll hairstyles (updos), so I chose parted hair, which is also really cute. Hanakoromo was a little more expensive than the other Hina dolls I was comparing it with, but there was no sense of shortcuts being taken in the texture of the doll, the screen, or the wood of the stand, and I'm really glad I didn't compromise.

Hina dolls bring happiness to both the giver and the receiver
I was looking for a warm-hearted Hina doll as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law.
"Hanakoromo" is a truly elegant Hina doll with soft colors and a lovely expression that evokes the feeling of spring itself. My daughter was very happy with the doll, saying it was perfect for the living room, and on the day of her first Hinamatsuri, we took photos together as a family. I'm truly glad that I gave it to her.
Purchased item: Hanakoromo Noshime (three-panel folding screen) Mr. Y, Osaka Prefecture (as a gift for his grandchild)
I love the design that fits into modern life
I was looking for a size that I could display in a limited space. The "Hare to Kurashi" Hina dolls respect tradition while also being designed to fit modern lifestyles, and I felt like they were exactly what I was looking for. They are compact yet have a presence, and they fill the living room with the gentle air of spring.
Purchased item: Hanakoromo two-panel folding screen. Mr. K, Tokyo (apartment resident)
I was able to choose it with confidence as a gift.
I chose this item because I wanted to give something special to my first grandchild for his first annual festival. It has an elegant appearance and is carefully crafted down to the smallest detail, so I felt at ease giving it to him. My daughter and her husband were also pleased, saying, "It fits in nicely with our room," and the whole family was able to celebrate the festival in a warm and cozy atmosphere.
Purchased item: Washi light (shippo) Mr. T, Hyogo Prefecture (gift for his grandchild)
It was much nicer than the photos!
I fell in love with it at first sight when I saw it on the website, and was a little nervous until it arrived, but the moment I opened the box I was blown away by its delicate colors and beautiful expression. It's so elegant from any angle that it seems like the doll's expression and the texture of the fabric change depending on how the light hits it. It was clear that it was made with care, and I was truly glad that I chose Hanakoromo. Its gentle appearance warms my heart every time Hinamatsuri comes around.

A timeless carp streamer with an artistic presence [Kyoto Nishiki]
When people think of "Tokunaga Koinobori," many first think of "Kyo Nishiki," a carp streamer with a design that has not faded since its release and that continues to be a long-selling item. The polyester jacquard fabric is light and lively. The carp is powerful and swims well. The gold leaf is placed along the scales, which, combined with the gloss and color of the fabric, gives the streamer a more three-dimensional and powerful feel. As the name "Yuzen" suggests, the classical masks and artistic "nishikigoi" carp painted by Japanese painters are reproduced, and the hand-printing by artisans blends well together to create a beautiful display in the Japanese sky. The presence and elegance will be known as the universal symbol of carp streamers.
The mobakama (skirt skirt) made of soft, sheer chiffon fabric accentuates the charm of the form. The softly swaying organza ribbon adds a subtle cuteness. The Puca logo is subtly placed on the back, making it even more special.
The warmth comes from the various textures of fabrics. Traditional design and the round cuteness that is unique to Puca. This is a gentle Hina doll that will relax your heart every time you look at it.
Beautiful carp streamers made from Japanese paintings
Founder of Tokunaga Koinobori, Tokunaga Haruho is a representative Japanese painter from Okayama.
Learning from the famous bijin-ga (portraits of beautiful women) artist Ito Shinsui, Haruho shocked the art world with her unprecedented refined and elegant carp streamers, painted with the delicate brushwork characteristic of Japanese painting and a unique worldview.
Carp streamers, created as a result of art, are said to be characterized by their beautiful craftsmanship, with every single step being carefully crafted. Tokunaga Koinobori's sensibilities and values are present in every aspect of their "manufacturing." His representative works include "Celebratory Carp: Auspicious Sign" and "Presented Hand-dyed Yuzen Carp: Kyonishiki."
Closing message
It means that many people will receive blessings and share happiness with those around them. It is considered a symbol of bonds, connections, and longevity between people. It is an auspicious pattern and has been used for celebrations since ancient times.
Rabbit
This pattern uses rabbits as a motif, which are considered a symbol of happiness in many countries around the world. Because of the way they hop around, rabbits are said to represent leaps forward, solutions to problems, and protection from bad luck and misfortune. They are also considered a symbol of matchmaking, vitality, and prosperity.
Sun
Since ancient times, the sun has been said to have the power to ward off all misfortune and disaster. For this reason, the sun motif has been revered and is imbued with meanings such as protection from evil, strength, success, development, growth, energy, vitality, and healing power.
Spring
The season of beginnings. A time of warm sunlight and gentle breezes. Colorful flowers bloom, new greenery abounds, and the songs of birds color the fields and mountains. This is the image of spring, full of dreams and hopes.
Shippou
The Shippo pattern, which consists of circles linked together in an eternal chain, represents wishes for harmony, fate, and more. It also represents the infinite connections between people, and the growth of a family through the prosperity of descendants.
Amber
Amber has been treasured since ancient times for its many meanings, such as symbolizing good luck, kindness, revitalizing energy and power (discharging negative energy), prosperity and longevity, etc. We have put our wishes into this beautiful amber, which radiates many possibilities, and created a colorful design.
The fabric is made of three-dimensional cross-woven polyester and has been specially treated to shine silver when exposed to sunlight. It is then decorated with fan-shaped gold and dyed with a seven-color gradient to capture the unique colors of Nishikigoi.
While still retaining a hint of youth, the facial expression exudes a calm aura, a soft and beautiful presence that only "Hanakoromo" can possess. This face was created with the aim of creating a gentle presence that anyone can easily accept.
One of its charms is how easy it is to decorate, as it blends naturally into modern homes and gently adds a touch of elegance to any room.
Swimming in the skies of the world [Kyoto Nishiki]
