What are "Baby Stands"?

The Baby Stand -ARATA- is a product developed for overseas, with the wish that carp streamers, a traditional Japanese culture, would become a symbol of celebration of birth, joy of growth, and health for boys around the world.

These companions were developed by utilizing the high design quality of the Baby Stand -ARATA- and drawing inspiration from Puca's popular patterns.

Adding "FUJI", "MORI", and "TAIYO", along with the artistic texture of "Satsuki no Uta" from the Atelier brand, we now have four types. The cute Baby Stands are becoming even more extensive.

Hand-drawn design with warmth

 In order to reproduce the soft brushstrokes and warm colors that are the charm of Mitsuhashi Jun's work, we attempted to reproduce colorful colors and shades without using the stencil dyeing often used for carp streamers. The result is a carp streamer with rich colors, in contrast to the strong, traditional stencil dyeing.

It was born as an art project brand that creates new value by combining tradition, culture, and art, in order to connect tradition and culture to the future. We hope that the products born from this will serve as a bridge connecting the past and the future.

Satsuki no Uta is a carp streamer created to swim in the sky. With modern yet Japanese motifs and colors that are the charm of Mitsuhashi Jun's work, it is a modern carp streamer that respects tradition. Its gentle touch and soft colors blend well with both Japanese and Western styles, as well as modern housing designs, and look attractive in the Satsuki sky.

We have taken such carp streamers, with their attractive form intact, and miniaturized them into a size that is easy to display.

Softly curved, plump, and warm carp streamers

While they have the shape of carp streamers, they are characterized by their soft curves and large tail fins, simplifying the design by removing the dorsal fin.
The tail is sewn with a sewing machine to make it easier to create the characteristic plump shape.
